This Privacy Policy explains how Halx Studios Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal data when you use halxstudios.com (the “Website”), support.halxstudios.com (the "support portal"), our email subscription service (Mailchimp, a third-party provider) and any of our apps.
This Privacy Policy applies to our websites, support services, email communications, and mobile applications developed and operated by Halx Studios Ltd, unless a product-specific privacy notice states otherwise.
We design our services using data minimisation principles, collecting only the personal data necessary to provide our services.

Halx Studios Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.
2. What personal data we collect
None by default is our preference. Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect the following categories of information:
2.1. Website
We do not intentionally collect personal data through the Website. Basic technical information (such as IP address and server request data) may be processed automatically by our hosting providers for security, performance, and abuse prevention purposes.
2.2. Support/feedback portal
This service is provided by fider.io who have their own privacy policy.
The only information we collect is:
- Email address
- Must be valid to receive sign-in codes.
- Display name
- Can be anything you want. Nickname, initials, etc. Please keep it polite, clean, friendly, and not controversial.
- Request title
- A summary of your message.
- Message
- A free text message you provide that will be publicly visible automatically. Do not include personal or sensitive information.
You can edit or delete your feedback if needed. You can also remove your account at any time on the website.
2.3. Mailing list
This service is provided by Intuit Mailchimp. They too have their own privacy policy.
The only information we collect is:
- Email address - must be valid to sign up to the service.
- First name.
- Last name.
You can unsubscribe from this service at any time by following the links provided in the emails.
3. How we use your personal data
We use your personal data for the following purposes:
- Support portal
- to plan, design, and implement features or bug fixes. We will extract the feedback and import it into our change and defect management system. Your personal identifiable information (email and name) will not be exported.
- Email subscription
- to send you product news and updates you have requested.
- Apps
- We use tracking in our apps to monitor anonymous user experience journeys from within our apps (provided by TelemetryDeck). TelemetryDeck is configured to collect anonymised or privacy-preserving analytics data that is designed not to directly identify individual users. All app data is stored on the users own device unless otherwise clearly stated in our privacy policy, the privacy section for the app in the Apple App Store, and on the app itself.
Our apps are designed to minimise the collection of personal and health-related information. Where an app processes personal or health information, this will be clearly explained within the app and in any app-specific privacy notice. - Security and integrity
- cloud infrastructure may be used that monitors IP addresses attempting to abuse the Website or services used to host the website and take precautionary steps. We do not intentionally record personally identifiable information for these purposes.
- Legal and compliance

We use trusted third-party service providers (“data processors”) to operate parts of our services, including:

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy.
- Support portal
- Retained while your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymise personal data within 30–90 days where technically feasible, unless retention is required for legal, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.
- Email subscription
- Retained while you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we remove your subscription details within 30–90 days where technically feasible, and may keep a minimal record to ensure we honour your preferences.
9. International transfers
Some of our service providers may process data outside the United Kingdom or European Economic Area. Where this occurs, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as adequacy regulations or Standard Contractual Clauses approved under UK data protection law.
